Democratic Senate Candidate Alison Boak urges passage of the Child Victims ActBoak accuses her opponent, Republican State Senator Terrence Murphy, of refusing to enact bill
Supporters of the Child Victims Act stood in front of the Mahopac Library demanding the bill be passed in the senate.
The bill has become a political football between the Democratic and Republican candidates for the 40th District New York State Senate seat between Democrat Alison Boak and the incumbent Terrence Murphy.
Senator Boak is accusing Murphy of “refusing to enact the Child Victims Act.”
“The vast majority of predators can live, they can work, they can hang out, they can be in these places that are supposed to be safe zones for these children,” Boak said to a crowd of supporters.
